Salone del Mobile 2026: healthcare design opens new international perspectives

21 May 2026

Participation in the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2026 marked a particularly significant moment in TECNOCARE’s evolution and in its contemporary vision of healthcare environments.

For the first time, some of TECNOCARE’s most iconic ergonomic solutions were showcased within one of the world’s leading international events dedicated to interior design and architecture, creating an innovative dialogue between the medical sector and contemporary interior design.

Thanks to the collaboration with PIANCA within the “Healing Habitat” concept, SURGY AES and the iconic PLUTO ergonomic stool were presented with a dedicated, sophisticated and highly contemporary look, specifically designed to integrate seamlessly into the aesthetic language of the exhibition space.

The experience attracted strong interest from architects, interior designers, international developers and healthcare professionals, confirming an increasingly clear trend: healthcare environments are evolving towards a new design dimension where ergonomics, comfort and aesthetics coexist naturally.

Salone del Mobile as a platform for healthcare design

From April 21st to 26th, Milan once again became the global capital of contemporary design, welcoming professionals and companies from all over the world. Within this context, TECNOCARE introduced an evolved vision of clinical environments, increasingly influenced by the aesthetic codes of hospitality, wellness and premium interior design.

Dental clinics, aesthetic medicine centers and specialist healthcare facilities are investing more and more in perceived environmental quality, space customization and the overall experience of both patients and professionals.

Ergonomic products are now becoming part of the architectural identity of the environment itself, contributing to the creation of elegant, welcoming and highly professional spaces.

SURGY AES: ergonomics and contemporary design language

Among the highlights of the exhibition space, SURGY AES attracted particular attention thanks to its ability to integrate naturally into environments with strong architectural and aesthetic value.

Designed for advanced aesthetic medicine and specialist healthcare applications, SURGY AES perfectly reflects TECNOCARE’s philosophy: developing ergonomic solutions that combine operational comfort, premium materials and contemporary aesthetics.

For Salone del Mobile 2026, the treatment bed was reinterpreted through dedicated finishes and details created to enhance its visual presence and strengthen its dialogue with contemporary interior design.

Its clean lines, balanced proportions and refined formal language contributed to creating a sophisticated healthcare environment fully aligned with the exhibition concept.

PLUTO: an ergonomic icon reinterpreted through design

Alongside SURGY AES, the iconic PLUTO ergonomic stool confirmed its strong identity within a completely new context.

With its distinctive saddle seat and immediately recognizable silhouette, PLUTO was presented in a dedicated version designed to further enhance its contemporary character.

Integrated into the “Healing Habitat” concept, the stool demonstrated how an ergonomic solution can actively contribute to the aesthetic harmony of a space, interacting naturally with materials, volumes and interior architecture.

The strong attention received during the event highlighted the growing international interest in healthcare products capable of combining ergonomics, customization and design.

A pioneering experience opening new opportunities

Participation in the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2026 created new opportunities for TECNOCARE to engage with the international design and healthcare planning market.

The interest generated during the event confirmed that the healthcare sector is undergoing a profound cultural and design evolution, moving towards more sophisticated, personalized and experience-oriented environments.

This pioneering experience allowed healthcare design to be presented within an entirely new context, generating important networking opportunities and opening new international business perspectives.

For TECNOCARE, the future of healthcare environments is shaped by ergonomics, design culture and Made in Italy quality — elements capable of transforming clinical spaces into increasingly refined and distinctive experiences.
